Recessed Lighting Style

Canned vs. Canless Recessed Lighting

Canned recessed lights, also known as traditional can lights, have a fixture that requires a housing, or "can," to be installed in the ceiling. This design often needs more space and involves more complex installation, making them suitable for new construction or remodels with accessible ceilings.

In contrast, canless (sometimes referred to as wafer type) recessed lights offer a sleek, low-profile solution with no need for bulky housing. They are ultra-thin and designed to fit in tight spaces, making them easier to install in existing ceilings or locations with minimal clearance. These fixtures are energy-efficient and provide a modern, clean look.

Lighting Temperature

Lighting temperature is a crucial factor to consider when illuminating your space, and we're here to help you make the right decision.
